At Soaring Learners, we offer a variety of Academic Learning Pods for homeschooling families or those seeking a personalized, purposeful alternative to traditional classrooms.
Our main microschool program, ‘The Aviators Pod,’ offers a nurturing and engaging environment for students in grades 1-8, with a small teacher-to-student ratio.
We offer engaging academics across all core subject areas, project-based learning, and collaborative enrichment in a mixed-age setting. We also focus on emotional wisdom, empowering our students to not only engage with the curriculum but also connect it to their everyday lives.
Highlights:
Small-Group Instruction: Within our ‘Aviators’ microschool program, we break our learners into even smaller groups—grades 1-4 & grades 5-8—ensuring that we not only keep our small student-to-teacher ratio but that we provide the most engaging and age-appropriate instruction possible.
Daily Outdoor Time: We believe that getting our students outside and in nature is so important to their physical and emotional health! Weather permitting, our students are outside playing, learning, and growing — every day!
Holistic Learning Approach: We prioritize a ‘holistic approach’ to learning, which means we’re not only focused on academics but how we can empower our students through social-emotional learning (SEL) and emotional wisdom, too! Our priority is fostering a love for learning while equipping young learners with the critical skills they need for future success.

Creative enrichment for homeschoolers or part-time learners.
Looking for a fun, meaningful afternoon option for your child outside of traditional school hours? At Soaring Learners, we offer a variety of academic learning options for families with flexible schedules.
Our ‘Gliders Mini-Pod’ is a perfect blend of learning and play! We are located in Post Falls, with an outdoor play space and mixed-age learning. Our focus includes light literacy and math games, hands-on STEM, art & collaborative projects.
Grades: 1-8
Schedule: Mondays & Thursdays, 2:45-4:45 PM*

‘Jetsetters’ Half-Day Kinder Program
Where young minds take flight.
Our ‘Jetsetters’ Half-Day Kindergarten Program is thoughtfully designed to help your child soar into a love for learning!
With a balanced 9AM to 1PM schedule, students explore, create, and connect through hands-on experiences and meaningful relationships — all while still having time at home to rest, play, and be a kid.
At Soaring Learners, we believe that children at the Kindergarten level (approx. ages 4 1/2-6) are at such a critical stage of development! These are the years when learning foundations and relationships are built, as well as a new understanding of the world.
That’s why we offer a grounded, nurturing, and fun learning environment where every child can spread their wings and jetset off to new heights.
What Sets Us Apart:
A calm, connected classroom with small group sizes and individualized attention. We prioritize a small student-to-teacher ratio and low enrollment numbers to ensure our students to build meaningful connections with their teacher and peers! Our ‘Jetsetters’ Program caps at 8 students.

Welcome to our Friday ‘Flyer’ Adventure Club—a day full of creativity, outdoor time, and hands-on learning! Fridays at Soaring Learners are all about curiosity, connection, and joyful exploration.
Each Friday includes:

A learning pod (otherwise called ‘microschool’ program) is a non-traditional, small environment with a low teacher-student ratio and hands-on approach. In this type of ‘classroom,’ students are given the ability to engage at their own pace and with individualized support.

All of our learning pods are dedicated to providing a comprehensive, engaging, and unique space for students in grades K-8th to thrive.

Robyn Bench, the founder of Soaring Learners, is a credentialed teacher with 10+ years of experience in diverse classrooms, including SPED. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, with a specialization in Special Education from Idaho State University. She is also Orton-Gillingham certified.

A complete list of curricula will be provided in our Learner Contract; however, we are happy to provide information to families who are interested.
We follow a multisensory, Orton-Gillingham based approach, incorporating programs like Imse, Science of Reading, Heggerty, Envision Math, Saxxon Math, and more.
We also focus on social-emotional learning (SEL), emotional wisdom, and mindfulness.

We’ll be in touch within 48 hours to follow-up and schedule an informational call.
If we feel like the right fit, we will send over our Learner Contract for signature and provide you with the essential information to get started! Once you’ve signed our contract and paid our deposit, we’ll share onboarding information, including a calendar, policies/procedures, and information to ensure this year is a great success!

Aftercare (M-Th, 2:30-5:30PM): $175/month or $15/day
Friday Enrichment (9:30 AM–5:30 PM): $150/month
Aftercare & Friday Bundled Total: $300/month
