Soaring Learners Microschool & Learning Pods
We offer learning alternatives for homeschooling families or those looking for alternative education options! We have our main Microschool Program (small-group learning pod)! We also offer our Friday Flyers Enrichment & afterschool / aftercare options, too!
Our focus areas are core academics (Math & Orton-Gillingham-based Reading/Writing/Spelling) and project-based learning through art, STEM, and collaborative projects. We also incorporate social-emotional learning (SEL) with a focus on emotional wisdom!
Academic Tutoring & Intervention
In addition to our microschool programs and small-group pods, we also offer both Individualized 1:1 Tutoring in all subject areas and ‘Buddy’ Tutoring (tutoring sessions with a similar-level learning partner).
All lessons are multisensory and taught using multiple modalities: visual, auditory, tactile, and kinesthetic (movement-based). Sessions are targeted to the learner and individualized to their unique abilities, strengths, and needs, as determined through our intake assessment.
Enrichment & Aftercare
If you’re looking to supplement your child’s education with an additional learning day, we offer our Friday Flyers Adventure Club, which provides a day full of creativity, outdoor play, and hands-on learning weekly (or as needed, through our drop-in options!)
We also provide Extended Care + Afterschool Care! Designed around traditional school hours, our program runs 3:45-5:30PM and provides an enriching and fun option for students needing somewhere to go after class, or for our Soaring Learners students in need of more play and learning time before pick-up!

Every child is unique, and so is our programming! We customize lessons for our learners’ strengths, goals, and needs while focusing on essential skills.
We incorporate a multisensory learning approach, which engages different learning systems at the same time. We also harness the power of the Orton-Gillingham method, a research-based strategy to support literacy foundsas (for all ages!)
This way, we can support a variety of learner needs and create a rich learning environment that’s all about growth, exploration, and confidence.

Forget boring worksheets or lessons! At Soaring Learners, your child will toss letter-balls, draw in sand trays, and hop along word paths.
Our fun, kinetic-inspired activities make learning an adventure, ensuring that learning isn’t just happening in the moment but stays for the long-term.
We also celebrate every success, no matter how small! This helps our students see (and reach!) their true potential. Our “Soaring Achievement Wall,” (our in-person space for sharing and bragging on student work), is a testament to student effort, growth, and confidence.
